Dr. Charlie Gonzales, DC

Dr. Charlie Gonzales began his journey into chiropractic in a rather unique manner. He started his career in Wall Street at a large investment bank, where he began to contemplate the purpose of his life. On the surface, he seemed to have everything as a stockbroker, but Charlie wanted something more substantial from his life. He wanted to make a difference in the life of others. He considered a number of different career transitions, but nothing inspired him as much as chiropractic.

Born and raised in Bayonne, NJ, Dr. Gonzales came back to serve the community with a mission of becoming a healer and help people get well in the true sense. He says, “I was once told, what made the body, heals the body, and it made so much sense to me. I thought about all of the people that I knew, especially in my family, who were taking pharmaceutical medications and just existing in life. It was time that I took the initiative to become someone who could help the people that I cared about most.”

Charlie decided to go to Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA. This was a unique time for Charlie because he was a “man amongst boys,” as he already had a prior life on Wall Street, but this was also the first time that he realized his true passion. “When I was sitting in class and learning about anatomy, science, philosophy, etc. I felt so connected to myself, really for the first time, and I could not put words to this feeling. It was exhilarating, almost as if I was about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime,” recollects Dr. Gonzales.

After completing his chiropractic study in college, Charlie began practicing in Bayonne, NJ, the community where he grew up. He wanted to improve the health of each individual in his community.

My Vision

“If there is anything that I would look to achieve during the remainder of my life, it is to positively impact as many people as possible. One of my proudest moments in practice was helping a women get rid of her crutches after she was told that she needed these for the remainder of her life. My personal vision is to become a healer and truly provide sustainable wellness solutions.”
